Cabinet expansion will be done after Gujarat elections: CM Bommai

Shivamogga: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Friday reportedly informed that the discussion on the state Cabinet expansion will take place after the Gujarat elections.

Responding to the media concerning the Cabinet expansion, Bommai said, “After the Gujarat elections, I will meet the Central leaders to discuss the Cabinet expansion and later update on the subject.”

Concerning the Maharashtra border dispute, the chief minister said, “We have already expressed our stance on the border issue. The dispute case is with the Supreme Court. We will firmly stand by the law. An all-party meeting will be called in this regard, where this matter will be discussed. Legal experts will also be consulted. Our arguments will be effectively presented.”
