Sydney Sweeney just dropped some photos on Instagram looking like a total retro queen.
In the pics, the actress is wearing a leather bodycon minidress and Gogo boots as she lounges on a bed and shows off her strong legs.
Sydney does all kinds of activities, from mixed martial arts training to water skiing and more.
Sydney Sweeney’s Instagram is packed with fierce looks and outfits you’ll want to recreate at home. But sometimes the Euphoria and White Lotus star shares a more behind-the-scenes look at her life.
Case in point: Sydney just dropped two pics on Instagram of herself in a totally epic ‘fit (a given) but the overall effect is a little more casual than her usual. There’s the 25-year-old cracking up in bed while wearing a cool-girl leather corset with matching bottoms, before you scroll to another shot of Sydney strutting down the street in that same look while flicking her hair to the side.
While the style (and vibe) is spot-on, it’s hard to miss the fact that Sydney’s showing off some impressively toned legs, with a hint of sculpted booty in this look. “Go to the comment section,” she wrote in the caption.
And people obeyed. “You’re so cute/hot,” said Lili Reinhart, while someone else chimed in with “So fly miss.” Everyone definitely got super busy hyping Sydney up.
Okay, but how did she get such impressive muscle tone? The first thing to know is that Sydney has been doing mixed martial arts (MMA) since she was 14, according to Marie Claire. “I started when I was 14 and did my first competition at 18,” she said. “It was a grappling competition against all guys a weight category above me, and I got first place.”
Sydney didn’t just dabbled in MMA, she was all in to the point that she played mind games. “I was the only girl at this dojo, and I wanted to fuck with all the guys’ [minds],” she told Porter. “So, I got all-pink everything–wraps, gloves, mouthguard, everything–because when you walk into the ring as a girl wearing pink, the guys are like ‘whatever.’ But then, when you can kick their ass, it’s the greatest feeling ever.”
Sydney is also a next-level water skier, a form of exercise that requires some serious thigh and core strength. Check out this Instagram video of her casually cruising over waves like it’s no biggie:
Speaking of getting your heart rate up outside… Sydney told Bustle that one of her exercise go-tos is a long walk with her dog. “I try to take my dog on a walk twice a day,” she shared. “We’ll do a 2-mile walk in the morning and again at night if I can. If I’m feeling really motivated, I’ll run.”
When she has a little more time, Sydney said she’ll do a workout video at home, like one from Dogpound Gym (a celeb fave). “Sometimes it’s hard if I’m missing equipment, but it’s doable,” she said.
On the food front, Sydney isn’t super restrictive. She told Bustle that her favorite breakfast is croissant toast with cinnamon sugar and honey butter. But—fun fact—she’s never had coffee. “I only drink water—for whatever reason, when I was like, 12, I decided I would only drink water and I just stuck with it,” she said. “I love water, it’s my thing.” If she’s tired, though, Sydney said she’ll reach for Swedish Fish or “anything gummy.”
Sydney told Yahoo Life that she’s trying to focus on body positivity. “Something that I’ve really started telling myself is this is the one body I’ll have for the rest of my life,” she said. “And it does so much for me and I need to appreciate it and I need to love it because I’m not going to get another one. So I’m just kind of loving myself more and thanking my body for everything it does.”
